This all started after my Mom passed away in Jan 2006. My Dad passed away July 2001 and I have felt a deep sense of loss. I am the oldest of six children and have really needed to find out all I can about who and where our family came from.
Our Mom and Dad gave us some information and we just let it lie and didn't do anything with it until now. So many times I want to pick up the phone and ask Mom, "remember this picture or this bit of info". I really miss her.
I want this to reach out to all and help them to ask and remember and write it down and share and all those things we just file away and forget.
We are all uniquie in who we are and where we come from. Since I have been doing this I have found it so rewarding and have found some real live family through this search and am on my way soon to a Family Reunion in Indiana. I hope you find this interesting and rewarding as I have.
