The Joe A. McDuffie's of Oreana, Illinois

I am researching the August F. Tomalla family from Decatur, Illinois. August was born March 12, 1886 in East Prussia, Germany. August is my grandfather. He died October 17, 1947 in Decatur, Illinois. He married Caroline Ponewash who was born December 4, 1886 in Germany and died July 10, 1974 in Jacksonville, Illinois. They had two daughters: Lucille Clara and Lillian.

A Montgomery and Mansfield family (McDuffie side) reunion was held in Peoria, Illinois on June 5, 2004. The Joseph Montell McDuffie siblings were present that day. It was a great day and hope to repeat again soon.
