We are researching my great-great-grandfather, Samuel Atherton Gould and his wife, Katy Willard Porter. We have found many of her ancestors, including John Alden and Priscilla Mullins, and many kings and queens of England, and other countries. Some of her ancestors date back to 80 A.D. Families included are the Porters, Wetherbees, Willards, Thayers, Aldens, etc. We are also researching Sarah Adeline Laire, the wife of James T. Gould, who was son of Samuel A. Gould. Her ancestors include the Laires, Hermans, Weibrings, etc. On my father's side, we are researching the ancestors of George W. Nummer, and his wife, Mary Wirth. Also their ancestors, the Guntners, Reins, etc.

On my husband's side, we are researching the McDuffeys, Vaughns, Martins, Neals, and Greenes. His ancestor was a sister of Gardner Green. My daughter, Lydia Black, is doing the main part of his family research. She can be contacted at LBlack5281@aol.com.
