| My family and I are busy compiling our family history and have a fairly extensive volume compiled so far. We're still looking for information on the following in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. One part of the Irish side of our family hailed from either County Cork or County Mayo. We are especially looking for a link between James P. Kain and Nicholas Kain, both born in Ireland who were second cousins and linked both sides of Pat's mothers family. I'm also searching for data on Margaret Elizabeth Bradley (d. 2/29/1928) who married Richard Henry Kain on 4/21/1897 in the Philadelphia tri-state area. Any information on her or siblings and ancestors would be appreciated. On Michael's side, we are looking for information on the McLaffertys who hailed from county Mayo and on my husband's grandfather James McDermott's parents, also born in Ireland. We'll be more specific once we've had a chance to organize. Anyone with information concerning the Bishof, Spodobalski, Byszewski families, primarily from the Philadelphia/New Jersey area, please let me know. |
