The McDonnells/Mc Donalds of County Westmeath I am currently trying to trace my family name of mc donnell which i have uncovererd that the family name was Mc Donald and that the family came from scotland i Have got as far as finding a marriage cert for my great grandfathers marriage to Mary Lyons of cloonagh Ballinagore in 1897 His name was James Mc Donald son of James Mc Donald and living in Temple Horseleap either county westmeath or kings county Offally
