To start with, I'm collecting all the research done by previous generations. My first ambitious goal is to connect our McDonald line to the clan back in Scottland. The path currently ends with John (Ian) McDonald and Ann Gleason McCray McDonald from Boston, Canada, and Finally Ogdensburg, St Lawrence county, New York. Ann Gleason died abt. 1840. Her family in Boston later published Gleason's Pictorial. It would be nice to get back in touch with the various lines coming from this couple, or even the McCrays from Ann's previous marriage.
Since I am not getting much headway on the McDonald - Gleason - McCray lines, I am also researching the Stees family, in its various spellings (Stiess, Steese, Stis, etc). This has been much more fruitfull!

I will gladly share information.
