Tom is a history buff and I really enjoy doing genealogy work. It makes for a nice combination and interesting vacations. We like to travel to the places our families have been. Most of my families came to Virginia and then migrated to North Carolina and on to Tennessee and Alabama and settling in either Arkansas, Oklahoma or Texas. We will visit cemeteries and excitedly write down any information from the tombstones that have surnames we're familar with. You'll find me inside pouring over county record books and these days many offices have computers we can access which makes the search much easier. Tom likes to read up on the history of the area. it's great to put the story with the data. We are also searching for old photos. Ever find your kinfolk in the photos sold at an antique store or old junk store? Ever meet relatives you never knew you had and become close friends for life? We meet a lot of folks this way and we have a lot of fun (our kind of fun.) If you are looking at our website then you too must be looking for information on your families. We hope you find some helpful information here in our pages. And if you see where you can help us learn more about our kin please share. God bless each and everyone who visits here.
