I am researching the Krause family that came to the U.S. from Popolutz Germany. I do not know the date they entered the U.S. One of the brothers that came here was my great-grandfather Friederich Krause born 1844. He had two brothers (Reinhold? and George?) that came with him. He married Albertine Janneck whom he sent for. A good portion of the information I have was obtained by searching church records in Delano MN.
In addition, I'm researching the William Wetter/Kraus family of Hollywood Township/Carver County, MN. Our family also includes the following surnames: Carpentier, Karau, McDonough, Newville, Eimers, Anderson, Brabec, Kaczmarek, Hoover. I have bits and pieces but would like to track all.
Any information would be appreciated and I am willing to share what I have acquired.
