I am researching the McFARLANE Family of Goulbourn Carleton county, Ontario, Canada West who arrived around 1825 and settled along the Jock river. They were the offspring of Donald & Mary McFARLANE(s) who were married on December 27, 1782 in the parish of Port of Monteith and later moved to Saint Fillians , Comrie parish, Perthshire, before leaving for Canada West. They were weavers. Other Family names I am researching are ; COYLE, PERRY, PHILLIPS,BOWEN, PIXLEY, CAMERON, McTAVISH, ANDERSON, STEWART, STEVENS, WAKEFIELD, LEWAK, and LONGOZ. The locations are, Sandwich Massachusette, Dighton Bristol Massachusetts, Bristol Ontario county New York, Howell Livingston county Michigan, France, Austro-Hungary now the Ukraine, Scotland, England, Antrim Ireland, and Canada. We have so far discovered 3000 family members. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information , that I have. Semai COYLE was the Irish wife of John McFARLANE and is our link to the correct McFARLANE family. I hope to sort out and identify our John McFARLANE families in Scotland. There are so many !
