| I am researching my mother's family tree, which includes the following surnames: WOLFE, HULSE, HOLT, SHEPHERD (founders of Shepherdstown, VA -- now WV), VAN METER, VAN METRE, or VAN METEREN. Locations include VA, KS, IL, IA, OH, NJ, England, and Holland, among others. I would also like to find out something about my father's side of the family; all I have are the names NEECE and PRICE. They were mostly from Arkansas and points south. I will be happy to share any information I have found. |
