| John McGuire born :1828 County Fermanagh Ireland emigrated to upper Canada late 1845. Married Rose Anne O'Keefe May 24 1857 at Stratford Ontario. Children from this marriage Michael Henry McGuire born: April 17, 1858 Francis John McGuire born: March 26,1860 Charles Thomas McGuire born: February 10, 1862 Mary Ann McGuire born March 27, 1864. Rose Anne McGuire O"Keefe died : April 17, 1864 John McGuire and his youg family emigrated to Grand Rapids Michigan in 1865 along with his father inlaw John S. O'Keefe. John McGuire remarried on May 01, 1866 his bride was Bridget McDonald. from this marriage came four sons James McGuire born: March 28, 1867 Daniel McGuire born: October 01, 1868 Edward McGuire born : April 10, 1871 Joseph Henry McGuire born : November 12, 1874. The John McGuire family moved west in 1889 to Grand Forks North Dakota to homestead in the Manvel district. In 1905 the John McGuire family emigrated back to Paynton Saskatchewan Canada where they remained until their death |
