Tom rented a farm in the Stansells District of Newton County, and Will and Walter worked the farm with Tom.
the 1910 Georgia census show Tom and Matlie living with Pearson Clanon who is listed as a grandson, but who's grandson is unknown.
The Capes family is said to have migrated to Georgia from Sand Hill, AL.
