Captain William H. Marsh, was born in Chatham County, NC in 1751. He fought in the Revolutionary War and married Sarah Stewart, daughter of Captain Charles Stewart in 1782. They had ten children. Captain Marsh died in 1854 at the age of 103 and is buried near Bonlee in Chatham Country, NC.

I have this on William H. "Billie" Marsh b. 1-4-1757 d. 11-2-1854 Chatham Co. (m) Sarah "Sallie" Stewart b. 3-8-1764 d. 8-2-1832 Chatham Co. Both buried on farm in family cem. presently owned by Harold Marsh of Siler City. I believe that her mother is also buried there.
