Eliza F. THURSTON was born on 3 Feb 1849 in GA. (Error in "First Families of Henry Co., GA" lists Eliza Thurston Capps b. 1827, d 10-6-1908.) She appeared on the census in 1900 in Henry Co., GA. 1900 Henry Co., GA census, Dist. 54, No. 638, Beersheba District, shows Eliza F. Capps, age 51, born in 2/1849, married 28 years, mother of 9 children, 8 still living, can read, write, and speak English, born in GA, occupation - Farmer, unemployed 1 month. (Her father was born in SC, mother in GA.) (There were only 4 or her 8 children listed on this Census.) She died on 17 Dec 1905. (Error in "First Families of Henry Co., GA" lists Eliza Thurston Capps, d. 10-6-1908.) She was buried in Butts Co., GA. She was buried in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was married to Eliza F. THURSTON (daughter of George Washington THURSTON Rev. and Elizabeth DAVIS) on 8 Feb 1873 in Butts Co., GA. In the Oldest Marriage Book for Butts Co., GA, the marriage info is on page 363. This was referenced in "Some Georgia County Records - Vol 3", p. 140. First Families of Henry Co., GA lists the marriage as 2-18-1873. The 1900 census said she had been married for 28 years, making it about 1872. Ginny A. Rowe (familysearch.org), lists the marriage date as 18 Feb 1875. Which one is accurate?
