| This is the compiling of a Family tree for the McGowan family hopefully from their beginnings to the present. Sofar the individuals located are from the Toronto, Fort Erie, Ontario area. Major occupation was railroading with the Grand Trunk Western, and Canadian National Railways. It is also believed that one of the ancestors had a business on the Niagara River, which was destroyed during the Phenian raid. My grandfather was Hugh McGowan, and my father was Earl Wellington McGowan. He had a sister named Ione. I would certainly appreciate any information that may be available from other persons as well as share any information that I might have. |
