"Pension Record # S.41911 Revolutionary War": From the papers in the Revolutionary War pension claim S. 41911 it appears that Peter Mires, or Myers, enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the fall of 1776 and served as a private in Captain Woelpper's Company, Colonel Nicolals Regiment until the close of Revolution. He was in the Battle of Germantown. (He had to have been older than 66 referenced below if he enlisted in 1776) He was allowed pension on his application executed March 27, 1826 while a resident of York County, Pennsylvania aged sixty-six years. (at 66 he would have been born in 1760 making him abt 16 years old when he enlisted in 1766) Possible other children John and Adam. #3 The other possiblity is that the father of Andrew Myers, Sr and Frederick Myers came from Morgantown, Monongalia Co,VA
