I am searching for information on Simeon Alynson Shepard,born in England, married in Wisconsin, 2nd marriage in Illinois. He and his new wife Amelia Cora Williams (formerly of New London Wisconsin)traveled in a wagon to Texas. Simeon was a the first blacksmith in Archer City where he died in 1878, and is buried.
Amelia Cora Williams Shepard and her young daughter Ida May, returned to Rockford, IL to live with her mother.

Also searching for relatives of my father, Harold Lawrence Ward, (born 1909 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and died 1976 in Rockford, Illinois) and descendants of his sister Anne Douglas, Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Their parents were Charles Allen Ward and Fannie Day Hamm.
