The James R McIlvaine Family Home Page

I am researching the McIlvaine family. Our direct line came to the United States (circa 1719) from Ayrshire, Scotland (Andrew McIlvaine) to the State of Delaware. We settled in Lewes, Delaware and then Cool Springs, Delaware and then moved through Pennsylvania to Washington County, PA, and then to Canaan Township, Wayne County, Ohio (1815). The original homestead in Ohio is still occupied by McIlvaines.
We have extensive documented records of family and share freely.
