| I am new to geneology research. Thanks to my Aunt Ruby I have lots of family information that she has passed on to me. I want to know about my McIntosh ancestry in Scotland. As the story goes my great,great,great grandfather, James McIntosh was born August 25,1793 in Scotland. When he was 11 years old he was kidnapped and sold for passage to America. He was lucky to escape the ship as it sat in dock. He lived in New Jersey for a while and finally married a lady by the name of Hannah. He moved to Burns, Kansas where he died in 1850. |
