Francois - cordonnier, fils de Francois et de Marei Clavet de Saint-Thomas de Montmagney, PQ, ne ca 1809, dcd Oct 25 1894, age de 82 ans. Celibatgaire, il demeurait a Tracadie en 1846 ou il fut temoin le 31 aout au mariage de Fidele Savoie et de Christine Losier. En 1848, demeurant chz Basile Brideau, if fut accuse d'avois commis un vol dans la maison de James Young et fut port cette raison incarcere a la prison a Bathurst. On le retouve ensuite en 1851, demeurant a Bas Caraquet dans differentes familles jusqu a son deces. Il possedait une certaine instruction, puisqu il signait avec une assez belle ecriture. Il est possible qu il ait ete apparent avec Marie Cloutier, espouse de Donald McIntyre qui demeurait a Tracadie en 1846.

Notes for George Fallu:
George came to Canada in 1826 to Paspebiac in the emplyment of the Robin Company as a carpenter. George worked in Charlo where he met Genevieve McIntyre, He workded in Dalhouise, New Brunswick building houses for seven years.
In 1843 they moved to Nouvelle. They had 14 children - 11 survived, 7 boys and 4 girls.

George along with his sons and voluntees, built the first chapen in Nouvelle, then not yet a parish. He became the first mayor of the municipality in 1855 and retained the post until 1870.
