I am a direct descendant of Alexander McInnes and Jean Johnstone, who immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1820. Jean died on the ship on the way over. Their children grew up in Lanark County, Ontario. My father changed the spelling of his last name, which is why my name is spelled differently. I'd greatly appreciate any information, particularly medical, on members of my extended family, and also would like to expand the information in my family tree to make it more complete.
