McInerney's of Eastern Michigan

I am researching the McInerney surname in eastern Michigan. My gg-grandfather Cornelius McInerney immigrated from Kilmurry-McMahon in Clare County Ireland from a Townland called Carhunisky. He married Margaret Laffan in New York, and they had 7 children. Margaret was also a Clare County, Ireland native. They settled in Macomb County, Michigan in 1838. I believe that Cornelius was a brother to James and John, who lived in adjoining farms. Most of Cornelius' children moved to Bay City, Bay County, Michigan in the 1860's. Cornelius' parents were Cornelius and Catherine. I would like to share information regarding this family.
