* Barbara Thomas McKinney - Lake Butler, FL*

Updated February 25, 2001

I have researched my mother's ancestry--the Lockwoods and the Inschos. I have traced the Lockwoods back to their entry into America in 1630. I believe the Inchos came into the country about the same time but have not found the name on any ship's registry. Possibly the name was so misspelled that I don't recognize it.

I have done little research on my father's family because he was adopted as an infant. His adoptive name was Albert Theodore Thomas. His birth parents' names were Phenis and Miller, located in Indiana.

I am also doing a little research on my husband's family: the Murphys and Todds of West Virginia.

If you want to reach me regarding my research, please e-mail. I'd be happy to receive or share information.
