| I am researching the surnames on my father's side of the family, which are McKinty and Beaton. They immigrated from Ireland and Scotland, respectively. I am also researching the surnames on my mother's side of the family, which are Piirto and Poutanen. They immigrated from Finland. This started out as a school project back in high school and has now become one of my greatest hobbies!! It's fun to find out tidbits of interesting information about my ancestors!! |
