    Roderick MacKinnon is the earliest NZ decendant in our directline. Born 1818 in Sleat, Isle of Skye and married Marion Grant 05 Dec 1844. He and Marion had 5 children and the entire family emigrated to NZ. Roderick died 14 Aug 1905 at Te Rore
