| I am researching the surnames of SIMONIS, SIMONES, GEYER, AND DEWALD on my father's side of the family. The SIMONIS' came from Queidersbach, Germany in the 1830's and settled for a time in the Warren County Pennsylvania area My Gr-Grandfather Jacob stayed in Warren County. His two brothers moved to WI. Geyer's also came from Germany in the 1830's and settled in St. Marys Pennsylvania. On my mother's side I am researching ENSTROM, WESTLING, and VESTRAND. They lived in the Jamestown NY area. My Grandfather Charles ENSTROM was born in Massachusetts in 1865. On my husband's side the surnames I am researching are McKINNEY, DUNN, LLEWELLYN, HUMES,and DREXLER. The McKINNEYS first settled in NJ in the 1700's and later came to Pennsylvania. |
