A Thousand blessings on you and yours.

If you are reading this page it has to be because you have some interest in the McKane family name. Please read on and enjoy. Feel free to criicize, admonish, argue or otherwise comment on the information contained herein. I never claimed to be a researcher so my efforts might seem somewhat misguided; but, I do accept critisism and correction and welcome both. You may fire when ready.

When I started this effort I had just a few names and now that list has grown to over a hundred so I don't think I am doing so badly. However, I am not doing so well that I can't see my way clear to accept a little or a lot of help. To those who have already helped, a million thanks and to those who will in the future, "May God in his wisdom and mercy grant you patience in dealing with me."
Though I am not of the blood of the McKane's, as I was adopted at the tender age of three, there is more to family than blood and the spirit of a family can sometimes be thicker than the blood. And, in that research that I have conducted I have discovered that that blood runs McKane red in white, brown, black, red, and yellow skin; so who is to say that there isn't some McKane in all of us. In the past and present ethnic Romanians, Germans, Russians, Spainards, Africans have enriched our history, blood, customs and love of all people the world over.
