"MCKINLEY HAPPENINGS". . . From the year 1000 to today....

McKinley Happenings starts in the year 1000 with Duncan
MacDuff and follows the MacDuff line until 1179 wherein
Shaw (Oig) MacIntosh succeeded in the leadership until
Angus MacIntosh (aka.,Angus Farquhard) continued until
1345. Ian (John) MacIntosh of the Clan Chattan continues
through Generation 18 at which time Donald Farquharson
continues, followed by Findla Mor Farquharson who was
the father of William MacKinlay born 1536 in "the Annie"

As one of four sons, Thomas MacKinlay, then Donald, then
John (Ian), followed by James "The Trooper", David "The
Weaver", John "Little John". This sequence leads to James
Stevenson McKinley, whose eldest son, William McKinley, Sr.
was the father of the President William McKinley.


In our line, the President is a first cousin, three times
removed. Thus our line continued via John McKinley, son
of James Stevenson McKinley, who was born in 1814 followed
by Benjamin Harvey McKinley, my great grandfather, followed
by James A. (Alfred) my grandfather and Ora. L (Liberty),
my father.

We were Indiana, Deleware County (Muncie) folks. I need
