| This McKenzie family has as it's earliest member Joseph C. McKenzie who was born in 1737, and lived in York County, SC.Other members migrated from SC to Texas, Tennessee, then from Tennessee (Henderson County) to New Mexico/Colorado. Some members are still living in Tennessee, Illinois, Colorado, New Mexico, California, Idaho, and Washington. I am sure there are many more who are living in South Carolina and Texas. There is an expected family reunion planned for Washington State in 1999. |
