Welcome to my family history pages. The McKernans (or McKernons) hail from Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, though my branch of the family now lives in Kent and Sussex. Other surnames I am investigating include Davis, Bucknell, Hill, Totten/Totton, Salomon/Salmon, Trott, Rolls, Mammen, Pooley, Cooper, Gowan, Clements and Builder. I have published the results of my researches so far for the benefit of family members, who can access the records via a password. The family history information is available in three ways, through the hyperlinks below under My Family History. SURNAME LIST takes you to a page with all of the surnames covered by the history; click on any one of these to see the relevant names and their histories. INDEX OF INDIVIDUALS takes you to a list of individual names, arranged by surname. Again, follow the hyperlinks to trace the family connections. INTERNETREE is a programme which generates trees when you put a name in the Search option. Do note this requires Java software, and there may be problems with some browsers unless you have downloaded the latest version of Java.
