"Not my McKinney side".From Adriaen Hendrickse Aten/1630/Netherlands, To present day. There is wonderful history here for a Family that used the ATEN (dutch spelling AUTEN)and other various spelling of the name. At this time there are 14 generations in this country that we have documented and growing daily. I am willing to help all who ask any way I can with my information on the ATEN family. GGrMother>Minerva Elizabeth McKinney b.1830-39>TN.d.AR, Her father was Samuel Mckinney,and his 2nd wife Nancy Hannah Berry (cherokee descent)was her mother. Samuels son to another (unknown)wife was my great grandfather Joseph McKinney.Samuel married a 3rd wife> Nancy Kasinger.Joseph married Mary Ann Lancaster,my grandfather Guy Wilburn McKinney was their son, he married Nancy Elizabeth Cooper who was Manerva "McKinney" Coopers daughter. Joseph and Manerva were half brother and sister.Which made my grandparents first half cousins, if any of this rings any bells,Please contact me. Thanks for stopping by. Mame
