I am researching the Stephen McKenzie/McKinzie family which I beleive come from McKenzie, TN about 1795 to Alexander Co. IL then to Washngton County IL about 1815-20. They settled on the Woodrome settlement in Ashley, IL. Stephen Married Typhena Austin from OH.

Also, I'm looking for ancestors of Doctor T. COLE born 1820 in NC. Married Emily MYATT in 1840 Bond CO., IL. I Suspect that he lived in a central IL county as a child.
