Descendants of James Emmett McKenna

Updated August 9, 2004

Patricia McKenna

This is a family research project, which includes surnames of McKenna, Devine, Coyle, Hunter and associated families. Any information about the above families will be welcomed and any errors will be corrected. My documentation of the immediate families has been through vital and family records.

Sandy Lewis contributed a copy of William Henry Hunter's family photograph. The photograph was in the possession of her great-great-grandmother Alice Hunter Barnum and written in her own handwriting. Thanks to her family tree, I was able to link my maternal grandmother's family history.

I am researching James McKenna, married to Mary Ann Devine of Bay City, Michigan and Oakland (Alameda) California. James died before 1936 and his wife Mary Ann died 1948 in Oakland, California.
