Ivan D. ROSENBAUM (son of Harold Day ROSENBAUM and Vera McCONE) was born April 2, 1924 in Nebraska, and died Abt. 1956 in Boone County, Nebraska. He married Doris ROBERG.

Ivan was graduated from Albion High School in about 1940. He briefly attended Wayne State Teachers College. World War II intervened in his life. He was a member of the United States Army Air Force and was trained as a pilot of a B-17 Flying Fortress. He flew missions over Germany and was one of the fortunate few who completed his assigned number of missions without being shot down over enemy territory.

On his release from the Army Air Corps, he returned to farming. He was united in marriage to Doris Roberg. From this union, three children were born.

Ivan took his own life in 1956.
