The McKenna's of Rhode Island

I am researching my family tree. I have traced the McKenna's back to Nicholas McKanne (his spelling). His grandson James F. McKenna fought in the civil war towards the end. He saw some battles, but fortunatly he survived to marry and have children.

This research is still in progress.
