I am researching my ELROD and KEITH lines from North Georgia and other Southeastern states. I am also researching my husband's MCKENNON lines. My biggest challenge is finding information on my husband's lines. His great-grandfather is Glen MCKENNON (b: 1885 in Almont, MI). Glen's father is John Frank MCKENNON (b: 1856 or possibly 1857 in Rochester, NY). John Frank went by the name Frank during his lifetime. Frank's death certificate lists John MCKENNON (b: Scotland) as his father. His mother is Isabel MOFFET. John and Isabel do not appear in the 1850 Rochester census. Rochester birth certificates to not go as far back as 1856. In 1860, Isabel is apparently widowed and a housekeeper in Charles Morton's household. Isabel married (re-married?) Charles Morton in 1885. Any information or leads on this line would be appreciated. I am willing to share information on any of these lines. |
