I am researching the following names: Clark & Hayes from New Hampshire, Withee, Vallier, and Boucha from Michigan, Field from England and USA, Chateau from France and Semrau from Germany.
DETAIL 1:
Annie Mary Field was born in Coventry, Warwick, England on June 30, 1890 to Charles Field and his wife Alice, the former Alice Woodfield. On November 30,1911 she boarded the White Star lines ship, S.S. Celtic, bound for New York in the U.S.A. This
young woman had a fair complexion, brown hair, gray eyes and stood at 5 feet and 5 inches.
Waiting for her in Detroit, was her sister, Mrs. Nellie Vallier at 156 Congress Street. Annie had a
total of $42 in her possession and indicated that she would be employed as a domestic.
A few years later, there were unsubstantiated rumors that Nellie Vallier went to Buffalo,New York and that Annie Mary Field, sometimes erroniously listed as Annie Mae Field or Fields, went westward, maybe to California.
The parents and grandparents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews of these two girls remained in Coventry, England. What exactly became of these two adventursome girls in America is somewhat of a mystery.
Now I am employeeing every means possible to discover their fate. I am looking for any information about where they lived and died, if they, in fact, were married (or remarried) and
produced families that can be added to the Field genealogy records.
Recently, I found that Nellie divorced and moved with her daughter,Jessie, to Buffalo, New York and became Mrs. Patrick O'Brien. The daughter married Spass Nounoff who changed his name to Peter Newman. I still have to verify this information as it was hear-say.
Annie Mary (or May) Field is now my main concern. Any bit of help about her will be greatly appreciated. I am willing to share details with interested parties.

I will add more information at a later date as I find them.
