| I am researching the Zimmerman family who resided in Singapore from 1898 to 1925. Carl Zimmerman who was born in Austria and Charlotte (Lottie) Schoer had 5 children. The children in descending age were, Olga, Valdemar Reginald, Annie Ruth, Victoria and Herbert. On or about 1925 the family left Singapore and either moved to Scotland or Shanghai. One mystery is that we believe that Valdemar (Mannie) Reginald Zimmerman married Violet Ellison in Singapore in approxiamtely 1918. They had two children shortly thereafter Barbara born around 1919 and Reginald born around 1921. I am trying to find out what happened to his wife and children? Or establish any lost family contacts |
