My father, John Thomas (J.T.) Mullen and myself have worked on this for quite sometime now. We have gathered information from lots of sources, from online, family and people we have met during our journey. But, we would like to send a special thanks to Annie Pearl Brantley in Spring Hope, NC. She has been so helpful and gave information we wouldn't have found without her efforts. So "Thank You Annie Pearl!" I have always been told to give credit to whom it's due....she gets the credit!
Most of the Mullen family members are from around Nash County, NC. We do have some from Johnston, and Rockingham Counties as well. If any anyone has any info to share, it would be appreciated. If anyone knows anything about the Tullock's from Rockingham County NC that were placed into the Oxford orhange (Masonic Home for CHildren) please feel free to email me. Samuel Tullock had 2 brothers Crocket & Robert C. one sister Susan A. Tullock. Parents were Thomas and Martha Tullock. They passed away in 1875.
