Miles Andrus (1735-1820) enlisted, 1778, in Capt. Asa Bray's company, Col. Roger Enos' Connecticut regiment. He was born in Newington, Conn. Abel Whitlock (1728-99) served, 1776, as a private in Capt. Samuel Comstock's company, Lieut.-Col. John Mead's 9th Connecticut regiment, and, 1777, in Capt. Nathan Gilbert's company, same regiment. He was born and died in Weathersfield, Conn. David Otis (1743-83) enlisted, 1777, as private in Capt. Aaron Rowley's company, Col. John Brown's Berkshire County militia, and, 1780, in Capt. John Bacon's company on an alarm to reinforce General Stark at Stillwater. He was born in Montville, Conn.; died in Galway, N. Y.
