Members of the Donald McLauchlan family emigrated to Canada about 1834. Son Thomas settled in McNab Township of Ontario where he died in 1851. His family later moved to Grey Twp., Huron County, Ontario. His oldest son Donald and most of his children moved to southern Manitoba and the Langdon area of North Dakota in the late 1880's.I have been able to trace all the family members with the exception of daughters Mary and Isabella. Mary in 1857 and married a William Campbell on March 16, 1881 in Grey Twp.. The other daughter was born around 1867 and later Edward Losse. They obviously moved to the northern part of North Dakota as I know they lived in the Hampden area where they had a son Thomas. Donald had ten children and Mary and Isabella are the only ones that I cannot track down.

I would welcome any information that anyone may have and would be willing to share any data that I have been fortunate to locate.
