| Hi Isobel Mclean here I'm busily researching my family tree and am currently trying to locate a John McLean (b.1871) brother of Charles (b.1885) and son of Charles McLean (b. 1842) who I believe was born in Plymouth where his dad was based with his regiment (Kings Own Scottish Borderers :- It was the Regiment who gave me the information about Plymouth). I believe they moved to cork later the but the one thing I am sure about is that John McLean he also had seven sisters andwas on the 1891 Clydebank census. I have searched the 1851 census but there is no sign of the family on it. I have posted this page in the hope that someone out there may be able to help and also in case any of my information helps someone else. |
