Looking for an information on a Richard Smith that goes backward, died in the 1780 in Northampton County in NC but a land grant was issure for Bertie County. He married a woman named Millisent and they had 9 children there name are: Nathaniel E., Mary, Soloman with wife we don't know, Joseph, Josey, Silvia, Benjamin, Lawrence, Susannah, that is all we know now.
You can email one of my cousin who did most of the work on this tree her named is Retta S. Osteen. Look in the database in Family tree maker for her.

The Lassiter's and the Smith's enter-marriage severals times during the past century.

The Evans' is my grandfather mother side.

The McLawhorn's, Thomas', and the Lockyear's are my father side. The Thomas and the Lockyear are my father natural parent. The McLawhorn's are my father adopted family.
