John Campbell McLeod/William Bertram Cornwell/Cyrus Knapp

I am the unofficial family tree keeper for the above mentioned families.
John Campbell McLeod was born on or about August 21, 1838 in John O'Groats, Caithness, Scotland but immigrated to Ontario, Canada. The majority of the family is still there, except for George Andrew's family which moved to Alberta, Canada. We have found most of the Alberta family but would dearly love to make contact with the Ontario family. John and his wife, Isabella, ran a hotel in either Thunder Bay or Thessalon, Ontario. In 1995/1996 we received letters from a couple of relatives, but have since lost contact with them. We wish to make contact again with the relatives in Ontario and apologize for the loss of contact with them.

Cyrus Knapp was born June 1, 1903 in Harmony, New York, but most of the family lives in Iowa. One son, Orrin Austin Knapp moved to Alberta and his descendents are there still. I have quite an extensive listing with the listing going back 7 generations for Cyrus, but any additional information would be helpful.

I haven't gone as far with the Cornwell tree yet. The information I have starts with William Bertrum Cornwell and Ora Evelyn Lockhart who were married July 16, 1899 in a buggy in the middle of a road in Iowa due to a funeral and the minister's time being limited.
