The surnames I am searching are: Spurlin/Arkansas; Fry/Arkansas; McGehee/McGhee/TN,AR; Strong/Canada,Maine; Good/New Brunswick; Pye/Nova Scotia; Publicover/Nova Scotia and Buckle/Labrador, Newfoundland.As you can see, I come from a very diverse background. My father's family came from the Arkansas [Hot Springs/Garland Co], with 2 great grandfather's who fought in the Civil War, and my mother's family came from Labrador and Canada, via the Channel Islands and England. My husband's great grandfather also fought in the Civil War [from Maine] on the Yankee side. Any information on the above families would certainly be appreciated. Please contact me. |
