I am researching the Gallagher/Joy Family from Currick on Suir and Donegal. Timothy and Margaret(Joy) came to the United States as children and married in Philadelphia, PA in 1879. They had 9 children. Margaret, Catherine, Anna, Mary, James, John, Timothy Jr., Thomas and 1 unknown. Tim and Margaret lived in Center City Philadelphia from the time they married until thier deaths in 1925 and 1927 respectively. The building of the Ben Franklin Bridge and the building of I95 chased thier children into other Philadelphia neighborhoods, Fishtown, Port Richmond and even to New Jersey. Take a look and see if your part of My Gallagher Family |
