I am researching my family names as follows:- ENGLAND: Bungay, Suffolk & Norwich, Norfolk - Abel; Broom[e]; Rackham; Cotman; Carley; King; Paul; Horth; Poole; Cavell; Grimmer. Clopton, Suffolk [and surrounding areas] - Broom[e]; Lech/Leech/Leach; Hayward; Banyard; Baker; Wells; Upson & many others. Essex - Wiseman; Harrison Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Surrey & London - Broom[e]; Baldry; Higgs; Butler; Daniels; Elsam. Upton-on-Severn, Worcs. - Higgs Somerset - Munden; Pittard; Dinham. ORKNEY, SCOTLAND: Wishart; Smith; Harcus; Redland; Scott; Paterson; Groat; Tait, Clouston & Sinclair in Orphir; Spence in St Andrews; Laird, Wards, Kennedy & Anderson from Burray and many others. I also have various other family trees originating in Orkney, along with some female lines in all my trees and welcome contacts from anyone connected to any of the surnames above or in my trees. These family trees contain all my Orkney and English family lines. The English families originated from Suffolk, Norfolk, Worcester and Somerset, UK. The Orkney families originate in Orkney [off the north coast of Scotland, UK]. The information has been researched and gathered by myself over many years from all the usual sources and includes some family lines which are the collaboration of several researchers who have allowed me to include their research in some of the tree lines.
