  July 1998, Terry and Bev from New Zealand visited Ireland, while they were here we met up and I showed them around the McCashin places of interest. This photo was taken at the grave of Henry McCashin and Alice Carr his Great Great Grandparents, they are buried in Down Cathedral Cemetry.

  This Photograph was taken About 1960 in Mark McCashins' house on the Vianstown Road, Corbally,known as "The Rock". They were obviously taking a break from a nights singing and dancing. Also pictured in the photograph are his Daughter Alice and her Husband John McCartan, His Son Dan is peeking through at the back. The little girl at the front in her bare feet, is his Great Grand Daughter Mary McKernan with her Aunt Amelia McKernan

  [Buried in Down Cathedral cemetry, In a low-railed enclosure 10 Yards from St Patricks grave] Pray for the soul of Henry McCashin who died 12th March 1870 aged 66 years. And his wife Alice Carr who died 13th June 1855 aged 47 years.
