I am researching the McLain, Ferguson and Romine lineage and the Wilbert, Burch, Smith and Hall lineage.
Searching for Hugh McLain married 24 April 1810 Elizabeth Morris in Mecklenberg County, North Carolina. Hugh was born about 1780 in North Carolina, died in Walker County, Alabama.
Searching for Gus Gordon Wilbert born 12 February 1884, parents believed to be Edward Wilbert and Anne Lou Burch in the Michigan area. Gus Wilbert married Mary Lou Smith in Alabama about 1910. Mary Lou's fahter and mother were John Henry Smith and Sarah Elizabeth Hall. Gus and Mary died and are buried in Jefferson County, Alabama.
