| The McLemore family traces its roots back to Colmonell Parish, Ayshire, Scotland, where Wilam Mcllmorrow lived and died. Two of his sons, James and Abraham Macklemore left Scotland and resided in and around the North Carolina and Virginia state lines. Detailed information about there descendants is provided on this web site. Related information on my mother's side dates back to 1485 in England, where Thomas Robins was born. The Pittman family is traced back to 1790. Anyone with additional information is invited to contribute. |
